Former Philadelphia School Dist. chief gets job in Connecticut

    The former CEO of the Philadelphia School District, Paul Vallas, is heading north to take a new job in Connecticut.

    CBS 3 reports Vallas will serve as the interim superintendent of a school district in Bridgeport.

    Vallas left Philadelphia in 2007 to run schools in New Orleans and then consulted on rebuilding schools in Haiti after the earthquake, according to CBS 3.
