Former employee stabs kitchen worker at Bryn Mawr school

    Authorities say a former kitchen employee stabbed a current kitchen worker at a Hebrew school on the Main Line in suburban Philadelphia. No students were injured, officials said.

    The stabbing happened shortly before 10 a.m. Monday at Jack Barrack Hebrew Academy in Bryn Mawr, Radnor Township police said.

    The school said on its website that the stabbing took place while all students were in class, and the assailant immediately fled the property.

    Officials said he was taken into custody, but as a precaution the school was locked down.No information was immediately available about the condition of the injured kitchen employee.
