Food and fashion event at Chestnut Hill’s Fareway draws neighbors [photos]
Chestnut Hill Business District hosted its annual Fashion and Food at the Fareway in late September.
Marking its third year, the family-friendly event was set up outside Market at Fareway on 8229 Germantown Avenue. Over 100 visitors enjoyed food and drink tasting and received gift bags and coupons from Chestnut Hill’s local restaurants and retailers.
The main event of the evening was a fashion shows that pulled together styles from select local boutiques presenting their latest collections.
“Chestnut hill has great apparel shops and beautiful clothes, so we were looking for something to feature that element of our shopping district. And our stores came up with this idea”, said Kate O’Neill, deputy director of the Chestnut Hill Business Association
