Following unsuccessful Council run, Bill Rubin gets a job in City Controller’s office

Bill Rubin has a new job.

Rubin, a former employee with the Philadelphia City Commissioners, is now the deputy director of fraud investigations for City Controller Alan Butkovitz.

Rubin ran for City Council last year as a Democrat against incumbent Republican Brian O’Neill in the 10th District. O’Neill kept the seat and there was no spot left for Rubin with the commissioners.
