Flags lowered to half-staff in Pennsylvania

Gov. Tom Wolf, in accordance with a presidential proclamation, has ordered all U.S. and Commonwealth flags at the Capitol complex and other public buildings lowered to half-staff as a mark of respect for the victims of the terror attacks in Belgium.

Wolf extended “deepest condolences” on behalf of all Pennsylvanians to those affected by what he called “these horrific acts of violence.”

Authorities say Tuesday’s attacks by Islamic extremists killed 34 people, including three suicide bombers, and injured 270 others.

Flags will return to full-staff at sunset on March 26, 2016 per President Obama’s order.
