Five Pennsylvania deaths blamed on Hurricane Irene

The Irene death toll has reached five in Pennsylvania, and the latest victim is a local woman.

Patricia O’Neill, a 64-year-old East Norriton resident, was discovered Sunday in the Wissahickon Creek about a half-mile from where her car was found in the flooded waterway, the Associated Press reports.

Irene is also blamed on the deaths of three people killed by falling trees and a car accident on the Turnpike.
