Fire warning for Sussex, Kent
The National Weather Service has issued a Red Flag Warning through 5 PM today.
The forecast is for high winds that will gust between 30 and 40 mph out of the southwest. Those high winds combined with low humidity makes favorable conditions for the rapid spread of fire. The warning includes Sussex and Kent County in Delaware, as well as portions of Maryland’s Eastern Shore.
