Fire strikes Camden corner store

A large fire once again has struck Camden–this time injuring two firefighters.

The three-alarm inferno began this morning at a corner store on Fairview Street, the Associated Press reports. One firefighter from nearby Glouscester City broke his ankle responding to the blaze.

The fire comes weeks after a series of large fires at abandoned buildings in the New Jersey city. Authorities determined at least one of the June fires was the result of arson.
