FEMA Disaster Recovery Center to open in Salem by end of week

    A new FEMA Disaster Recovery Center is scheduled to open in Salem County by the end of the week to help residents and entities get assistance with recovery resources.

    According to a story from Today’s Sunbeam, the center will be open from 7:30 a.m. to 6 p.m., seven days a week at the Ware Building on Cheney Road in Mannington Township.

    County officials told Today’s Sunbeam residents should make sure they have their disaster declaration claim number from the state of New Jersey. (FEMA 4021-DR-NJ)

    According to the report, reimbursement to residents can be up to 75 percent.
