Fast food robber gets 107 years in prison

    Devon Brinkley will be 131 when he gets out of jail– assuming he serves and lives through the 1,285-month sentence handed to him today.

    The 24-year-old was convicted of robbing, with four others, two Dunkin’ Donuts in Philadelphia, a Dunkin’ Donuts and a Pizza Hut in Upper Darby and a McDonald’s in Radnor over nine days in October 2008. Hi co-defendants pleaded guilty.

     

    Testimonies from victims tell of a Brinkley who brandished a firearm, forced en employee to open a safe and left one woman with nightmares, according to a sentencing summary from the U.S. Attorney’s office.

    Brinkley also faces a $2,500 fine, $20,952 in restitution and five years of supervised release.
