Find Clifford the Big Red Dog this weekend at Morris Arboretum

This weekend, there are some great opportunities to enjoy stories with inspiration from some of your favorite children’s book characters:

Friday: Hang with Clifford the Big Red Dog at the Morris Arboretum

Bundle up for a winter story with the famous Big Red Dog. Channel your inner Emily Elizabeth, and come enjoy storytime on the lawn in front of the Visitor’s Center at Morris Arboretum from 10:30-11am. Free with regular admission or membership.

    Saturday: Get Fancy like Nancy

Gasp!  She doesn’t even have a PBS series, but quite frankly my dear, Fancy Nancy doesn’t require one.  Bring your little accessorizor over to Michael’s in Conshohocken to enjoy a story and design a fabulous (that’s a fancy word for great) tiara.  10am-12pm, but only as long as supplies last.

Saturday and Sunday: Monkey around with Curious George

If your child’s PBS tastes trend more towards yellow hats than red dogs, head over to the zoo this weekend.  Crafts, activities, book readings, and character appearances will delight your Curious George fan.  Sponsored by the WHYY Kids Club from 10am-2pm both days.  Free with membership or zoo admission.
