Families plead, Delaware police offer reward in unsolved murders [video]

After several unsolved murders in recent months, New Castle County is offering a $10,000 reward for information leading to convictions in those cases.

The most recent murder happened Monday afternoon at the Rosehill Community Center in New Castle. 30-year-old Jamar Kilgoe was shot in the center’s lower level recording studio.

On Friday, police released surveillance video showing a man they are calling a person of interest in the murder. Anyone with information on this incident or any other case can call New Castle County Police at 302-573-2800. Tips can also be submitted onlie at the “Tips and Alerts” link on NCCPD.com.

Also on Friday, police held a news conference featuring family members of murder victims in the county. New Castle County Police Chief Elmer Setting said the goal was to show the people who are pulling the triggers in these shootings the impact their actions have on the families of their victims.
