Execution still on schedule for convicted Delaware ax murderer

Plans are still in place to execute Robert Jackson at midnight.

Lawyers are still pushing for a stay of execution, as WHYY’s Mark Fowser reports, but two Delaware courts yesterday rejected three appeals that would delayed the convicted ax murderer’s execution.

Now only the Third Circuit Court of Appeals Philadelphia or the U.S. Supreme Court can intervene.
