Evaluating public sector layoffs

It’s not just Camden. Across the nation, public sector workers face staff cuts due to budge shortfalls. The private sector looks a bit more promising, but unemployment is still a major issue.

Today in the first hour of Radio Times, host Marty Moss-Coane will talk to Rutgers professor and economist Joseph Seneca about the regional employment outlook and Time Magazine’s Bill Saporito about the national scene. Marty will kick off the hour with a report from WHYY’s Lizz Fiedler about the situation in Camden.

You can listen live at 10 a.m. on 90.9 FM.
