Enterprise acquires PhillyCarShare, library opens Shakespear park

Good morning, Feeders! We’re not done with flashmobs just yet. Other cities are dealing with similar issues, so Lizz Fiedler will have coverage for us on how they’re handling teen violence compared with Philly’s approach.

PhillyCarShare is losing its local feel. The service is now part of Enterprise Holdings, which will mean some shifts in membership packages. Mara Zepeda will talk to some PCS users about the change, and the details behind the acquisition.

This afternoon, Republican mayoral candidate Karen Brown will host her weekly Tuesday Talks With Karen. Tom MacDonald will be there as she hosts the public discussion about education and flashmobs.

We’ll have coverage as the Free Library unveils its Shakespear park. Today’s event will include live actors in costume.
