E.M. Stanton decision brings thank yous all around

Celebrations were in order at E.M. Stanton Elementary last Friday morning after the School Reform Commission decided not to close the school.
During two special assembly sessions, first-year Principal Stacey Burnley thanked the core members of Supporters of Stanton (SOS) , the grassroots group of parents, community members, and teachers largely credited with the successful campaign to keep the school open.
