Pa. State Rep. Lawrence Curry has been chosen as the Democratic chairman of the House Aging and Older Adult Services Committee for the upcoming legislative season.
Curry, of the 154th District, will be sworn in Jan. 4, the Glenside News Globe Time Chronicle reports. The House Aging and Older Adult Services Committee ensures the well-being of the state’s seniors — 15.5 percent of the population.
