Join in the discussion: Challenges facing the Free Library
The Falls of the Schuylkill Library, located at 3501 Midvale Ave., will host a community meeting at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday at 6:30 p.m. to discuss a new report from The Pew Charitable Trusts’ Philadelphia Research Initiative. They have found that the Free Library of Philadelphia, like urban libraries across America, is struggling to keep up with the changing demands of residents who have come to rely on neighborhood libraries to perform an ever-wider range of functions. The event is free and open to the public. For information call the branch at 215-685-2093.
