Early morning closures on Turnpike Sunday
If you had thoughts of speeding up and down the empty Pennsylvania Turnpike early Sunday, this might throw a wrench in your plan.
Both directions of the Turnpike will close for a six-hour period Sunday for the demolition of a Tredyffrin Township bridge.
Things will shut down between the Downingtown Interchange and the Valley Forge Interchange from 12 a.m. to 6 a.m. Sunday as steel beams are removed from the Mill Road bridge.
All bets are off if the weather doesn’t cooperate, in which case the closures will be postponed until next weekend.
