Eagles accident

If only the game had been played Sunday . . .

Adding to the rants and raves about the postponement of Sunday’s Eagles game to Tuesday night is a real concern: a police officer was struck by a pickup truck as while on duty after the game.

CBS3 reports the officer was struck after midnight at Front Street and Pattison Avenue, while directing traffic from the game.

The officer was treated for a fractured shoulder at Jefferson hospital, and the driver stayed on the scene.
