Ducks in a row

As Pa. Gov.-elect Tom Corbett continues to get his cabinet together, he’s announced Glenn Moyer as the nominee to lead the commonwealth’s Banking Department.

Moyer, of Berks County, is the former president and CEO of National Penn Bancshares, Inc., the Associated Press reports. If approved by the Senate, 59-year-old Moyer will head the 200-person department, which ensures the safety of the state’s banks.
