Duck boat service suspended to mark one-year anniversary of crash

One year ago today, three dozen people were sent into the Delaware when a Ride the Ducks boat collided with a barge in the river.

Ride the Ducks will suspend its service in Philadelphia today to mark the anniversary and remember Dora Schwendtner and Szabolcs Prem. The two young Hungarian tourists were killed in the accident.

A report released recently by the National Transportation Safety Board found the mate piloting the tugboat that had been pushing the barge was using his cell phone at the time of the crash.
