Drug treatment sentence for final Delaware County bully

The last of six Upper Darby teens involved in the January bullying incident against Nadin Khoury has been sentenced to a juvenile drug treatment facility. The 16-year-old admitted to simple assault charges last month after first requesting a trial.

Five of the other bullies received various terms of home monitoring, community service and curfews, and the teen who held the video camera as Khoury was kicked and hung from a tree had all charges against him dropped.

The teen sentenced yesterday was under the influence of marijuana at the time of his arrest, the Delaware County Times reports, and will spend a minimum of 30 days in treatment.
