DRPA committee approves $20 million in non-transportation spending

It wasn’t easy, but a Delaware River Port Authority committee has advanced a $20-million spending package for non-transportation items.

Among groups benefiting from the spending are food banks, a cancer center, student housing at Rutgers and rowing facilities on the Cooper River, reports the Inquirer.

The full board is to vote Wednesday on the spending.
