Driver in critical condition after SUV flips onto propane gas pipe
The driver of a vehicle lost control and ended up flipping onto a propane gas pipe early Sunday morning in Delaware County.
According to WPVI-TV, the accident happened around 3:00 a.m. Sunday morning near Bethel Road.
Police tell WPVI-TV the driver lost control and landed on the gas pipe, which sits nearby Sunoco Tank Farm in the Upper Chichester Township area.
Crews on scene say the pipe did not break.
Police had to use the services of a crane to safely lift the SUV off the pipe.
According to WPVI-TV, the driver is in critical condition.
