Dreamwork’s Santa house returns to the Cherry Hill Mall for 2015

If you haven’t already heard the news, Santa Claus has set up house at the Cherry Hill Mall for the holiday season.

Adventure to Santa, which opened earlier this month, drew social media backlash from angry parents who criticized the required purchase of photo packages ranging from $35 to $50 in order to gain entry to the attraction.

The resulting outrage led the mall to again offer free admission (without photos) as it had last year. For those looking for a modern take on the traditional mall Santa visit, the DreamWorks DreamPlace experience boasts a 15-minute “4D” virtual sleigh ride to the North Pole together with animated movie character Shrek. There are also interactive video games, concerts by elves, and, of course, the old-fashioned experience of sitting on St. Nick’s lap.
