Dover Days celebrates 80th anniversary

The Dover Days festival is celebrating its 80th anniversary with a parade.

The annual festival dates to 1933. Gov. Jack Markell and his wife will lead Saturday’s parade. They’ll also be hosting an open house at the governor’s residence following the parade.

Other Dover Days events taking place Saturday include dance performances, a stunt bicycle show and a cooking demonstration.
