Dog of the Week: Lisa

Lisa (A13075053) is a sweet adult female terrier pit mix who was found tied up at a block corner. Lisa is quite the looker – she has a beautiful tan coat with white chest and paws and some black outline on her face. She is scared in the kennel and pretty quiet.

Outside in the kennel, she just wanted to be near people and sit on their laps or lean against them for pets. Lisa was tested with other dogs and seemed comfortable around them. In the runs, she seemed to like the other dogs around and cried to leave the run when all the other dogs were gone. She was tense in the cat room and when the cat rubbed against the cage, Lisa backed off slowly. She may not be good in a home with cats but she can be retested.

She was cautious during her food test by keeping her distance. Poor Lisa is very nervous here and just wants to be loved and be near people and feel love. If you have any dogs or kids, please bring them to meet Lisa and bring her home today!
