Dismissed
Students have been dismissed from Egg Harbor Township High School after a lockdown at the school earlier today.
The Press of Atlantic City reports students were dismissed at 1 p.m. and after school activities were canceled. The district superintendent said no immediate threat was known, but parents said Principal Brett Charleston ordered students to go straight to their buses or rides home at dismissal and not stop at their lockers.
No further information about the “perceived threat” has been released.
