Detours: Parade route closes Ben Franklin Parkway

    It’s Thanksgiving morning, Nov. 22, 2012.

The sun is shining, talk radio’s chugging along and the oldest Turkey Day Parade in the nation is now under way.

Sure, New York City’s Macy’s Parade might be bigger, better or more famous. But there’s something to be said about being the oldest.

Ours is older. There, I said it!
