Detonations at Naval Weapons Station Earle through Friday

If you live near Naval Weapons Station Earle, don’t be alarmed by loud booms coming from the installation this week.

Demolition training, part of a cooperative effort with the Transportation Security Administration and NWS Earle’s Explosive Ordnance Disposal team, is ongoing through Friday, according to a report on Jersey Shore Hurricane News.

While the detonations are slated for the afternoon hours, they may occur during the morning depending on weather conditions.

NWS Earle is a US Navy base in portions of Colts Neck, Howell, Wall, Tinton Falls, and Middletown.
