Deliberation continues
Jurors will continue deliberation Monday in the sentencing of Rasheed Scrugs. The jury was deadlocked earlier today, but will continue the debate next week at the urging of the judge. If the jury cannot reach a sentencing verdict, Scrugs will receive a life sentence in prison for the murder of Officer John Pawlowski.
