Delco gunshot victim talks about the road to recovery

Kevin Neary is confined to a wheelchair and still needs some help breathing five months after being shot in the neck.

Neary, a Delaware County native, was shot while walking in Northern Liberties in Philadelphia. His family has been helping him recover while the 29-year-old counsels other gunshot victims.
The Delaware County Times did a video interview with Neary about his recovery and his hopes to resume work with his consulting business once his house can be outfitted to accommodate his medical needs.

Neary’s family and friends are using a blog to keep people updated on his progress.
