    Russel Mauger was a senior scientist at AstraZeneca, having conducted research for 20+ years with the company. When his research facility was scheduled to be closed, he decided to enroll in the MAT program. He has always enjoyed tutoring his neighborhood’s high school students in chemistry.

    Ben Berg came to the MAT program from his undergraduate program at Franklin and Marshall. He was a chemistry major with a minor in international studies (Japanese concentration).

    Julie Coxe earned a bachelor’s degree in mathematics and accepted an internship at NASA. Her work with NASA led her to New Zealand, where she earned a master’s degree in mathematical physics. She was interested in returning home to Delaware and pursuing a teaching career.
