Delaware’s Next Great Baker at DHSS campus in New Castle

Baker Dana Herbert, winner of TLC’s Next Great Baker, will be at the Department of Health and Social Service’s New Castle campus at lunchtime today.

Herbert, who owns Desserts by Dana, supplies deserts for the Holloway Hideaway Café on the DHSS campus. He’ll be giving out samples and signing autographs from 11:30 AM to 1:30 PM. The visit is designed to draw attention to the Business Enterprise Program (BEP) of the state Division for the Visually Impaired.

Through BEP, Delawareans who are blind and visually impaired are trained and licensed to establish and managed food service businesses in public and private facilities.

Herbert was recently sat down with WHYY’s Shirley Min for an interviewd seen First.  You can watch the interview by clicking here.
