Delaware’s Fish and Wildlife Enforcement warns of safety violation arrests

    Delaware’s Division of Fish and Wildlife Enforcement is not messing the around. The section of the Department of Natural Resources and Environmental Control has announced several arrests officials have made for safety violations on and off the water.

    Seven boat operators were cited on June 18 alone during a safety operation, according to a release from the department. Fines were issued for excessive speeding and violations of the no-wake zone in Indian River Inlet.

    operating a boat under the influence of alcohol
    trespassing in a state wildlife area
    possession of marijuana on state wildlife area
    commercial crab pot tampering
