Delaware unclaimed property listed, owners notified

The names of more than 100,000 owners of unclaimed property in Delaware have been published.  Now, they have an opportunity to claim what’s theirs.

The Delaware Division of Revenue listing includes property reported by corporations and other entities to the Delaware State Escheator.  They are not real estate holdings, but financial “property” such as stocks, wages, refunds, uncashed or undelivered dividends, deposits, interests, payments for goods and services, debentures, bonds and more.  CLICK HERE to see if your name is on the list.  To claim property, claimants must be listed, be an executor of an estate or an heir, and believe they have reason to file a claim.  A request form for filing a claim is available at www.revenue.delaware.gov.  For more information call 302-577-8782.
