Delaware State Police investigate deadly bus crash

    Morning commute in Wilmington disrupted by fatal crash involving three vehicles.

    Delaware State Police responded to a call Friday morning at approximately 7:45 on the Rt. 13 bridge area of S. Market Street in Wilmington where an accident had occurred involving a DART bus with passengers, an empty school bus and a passenger car.

    The driver of the passenger car died at the scene and no other injuries have been reported.

    Northbound and southbound lanes of S. Market were closed, but have since reopened.

    Delaware State Police say an investigation of the incident is ongoing.
