Delaware setting up prescription drug-dumping sites

Delaware will join the U.S. Drug Enforcement Agency later this month for National Prescription Drug Take-Back Day. Twenty-nine sites will be set up Saturday, April 30 for residents to get rid of old prescription medications.

The day is a way to remind people of the potential harm of leaving old meds in the medicine cabinet and of the environmental impact flushing medications can have, as WHYY’s Mark Fowser reports.
