Delaware police seize 11,000 bags of heroin in traffic stop

A Pennsylvania man faces multiple drug charges after a Delaware police say they found more than 11,000 bags of heroin in his car during a traffic stop.
37-year-old Vincent Clark was stopped near the toll plaza on Delaware Rt. 1 Tuesday afternoon around 1 p.m. Police said he was going faster than the posted 25 mph speed limit approaching the Dover tolls.
The investigating officer searched the car after detecting an odor of marijuana in the car, police said. That search revealed 11,115 bags of heroin weighing more than 77 grams. They also found a small amount of marijuana.
Clark was also found to be driving with a suspended license.
He’s facing charges including possession with intent to deliver heroin and driving without a valid license. He’s being held on $40,000 secured bond.

Attorney General Kathy Jennings said she’ll ask the Delaware Supreme Court to stay the ruling narrowing access to the voting booth.
