UPDATE: Missing Delaware boy found safe

UPDATE: New Castle County Police say a missing 11-year-old boy  has been found safe and will be reunited with his parents Thursday morning.

PREVIOUSLY: 11-year-old Darran Boyles was last seen at his Todd Estates home around 2:10 Wednesday afternoon. Now, police are asking for the public’s help.

The boy’s mother reported her son missing Thursday night. New Castle County Police say Boyles left his home on Kenmark Drive after returning from school Wednesday afternoon. He hasn’t been seen since.

Police say multiple patrol units searched the surrounding area and multiple other locations but were unable to locate the boy. They say because of his age “there is a concern for his welfare.”
