Delaware para-transit bus involved in crash

Four out of the five special needs passengers on the DART bus were taken to Kent General Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

State Police say a woman from Camden didn’t see the bus which was stopped and waiting to turn into a driveway on South State Street in Magnolia.  Her car crashed into the back of the bus.  The driver, Lisa Barrett was cited for inattentive driving.

The passengers on the bus were helped from the bus by EMS and then taken to the hospital.  Barrett and her 4-year-old daughter, who were both buckled up, were also taken to Kent General for non-life-threatening injuries.
