Delaware man crashes car into home

A manhunt is underway as New Castle County Police continue to investigate an early morning crash in the Windsor Forest Townhomes community.

Shortly after 1:30 A.M., County Police say a gold Dodge Durango crashed into a home in the 400 block of Aberdeen Circle. A broken gas line forced police to evacuate several homes within the area until the line was secured.

The investigation revealed the driver, later identified as 25-year-old Eder Juarez, lives within the development in the 700 block of Helmsdale Circle. Charges are pending, but officers say after Juarez put the vehicle in reverse and crashed into the home, he fled the area.

Anyone with information regarding his whereabouts, is asked to contact the New Castle County Police Department at (302) 573-2800, or online at www.nccpd.com or through Crime Stoppers at (800) TIP-3333.
