Delaware library opens new computer lab

A new public computer lab will open today at New Castle County’s Garfield Park Library and Activity Center.

A public meeting will follow to discuss long-term needs for library services along the Routes 9 and 13 corridor south of the City of Wilmington.  The lab will include 15 computers available free of charge for holders of New Castle County library cards.  “This will bring the Garfield Park community the same level of computer service provided at other libraries, while increasing users’ access to internet resources including employment services, e-mail, consumer health and other business information,” New Castle County Executive Paul Clark said.  The formal opening and meeting get underway today at 3:00 p.m. at 26 Karlyn Drive, New Castle.
