Delaware counselors assisting cancer patients, subject of Delco miracle heads to Rome

Good morning, Feeders, and happy Friday. There’s plenty happening this week, but first, let’s wrap up the week.

A Delaware County man is heading to the Vatican for the canonization of Father Louis Guanella. Prayers to Guanella are credited for bringing Springfield’s William Glisson, Jr. out of his coma in 2002, and now Guanella, who already had miracles to his name, will become a saint. Lizz Fiedler will share her interview with Glisson.

Maiken Scott is talking to counselors in Delaware who are specifically helping cancer patients and their families. How does counseling change when it’s devoted to a specific topic, and what kind of help can patients’ family members get?

Renowned pianist Lang Lang is playing Philly’s Verizon Hall tomorrow, but his performance will be heard around the country. Peter Crimmins will have details on the performance that will be simulcast to hundreds of theaters nationwide.
