Delaware celebrates the start of Hanukkah

A gathering in north Wilmington marks the start of Hanukkah, the Festival of Lights.

Hanukkah commemorates the rededication of the Temple in Jerusalem after a group of Jewish warriors defeated the occupying Greek armies.

Chabad Lubavitch of Delaware, 1811 Silverside Rd.,  hosts a lighting of the menorah tonight at 6:00 p.m.
