DeCroce’s widow enters bid to fill N.J. Assembly seat

    New Jersey could soon have another DeCroce in its Assembly.

    Republican Alex DeCroce’s widow has written a letter to the the GOP chairmen of Morris, Essex and Passaic counties expressing her interest in filling his shoes.
    DeCroce died suddenly in the Statehouse last week. He was the Assembly Majority Leader.

    NJ.com published a portion of the letter, and reports a formal press release is expected soon. Betty Lou DeCroce is a deputy commissioner of community affairs in Gov. Chris Christie’s administration.
