Decision day

The International Federation of Association Football (FIFA) votes today to decide which countries will host the 2018 and 2022 World Cups.

A tense few days of last-minute lobbying capped years of campaigning for the hopeful countries. The decisions are to be made by FIFA’s executive committee via a secret ballot in Zurich.

You can get all caught up in the fervor here in Philly by hanging out with Philadelphia Union players and Mayor Michael during the announcement today at 10 a.m.

The best part? If the U.S. wins for 2022, everyone heads to the Art Museum for a celebratory run up the stairs, Rocky-style.
