Deadspin publishes pre-molestation story email exchange will Bill Conlin

Deadspin was first to report the Philadelphia Inquirer would publish a story about child molestation accusations against former Daily News columnist Bill Conlin.

That story went live late yesterday afternoon, and you can hear more about it on NewsWorks Tonight Wednesday evening from its author, Nancy Phillips.

Today, though, we hear from Conlin himself. Sort of. Deadspin’s A.J. Daulerio explains how Conlin contacted him before the story broke and publishes portions of his email exchange with Conlin.

It began with a note from Conlin asking Daulerio to call him about a “potentially explosive story.”
