David Cohen getting $6 mil. to stay at Comcast

According to federal financial filings, Comcast has decided to hold on to David L. Cohen, one of the Philadelphia’s most influential men.

He’ll stay executive vice president at an annual salary of about $1.4 mil. But he’ll get a signing bonus of another five and he’s eligible of for annual bonuses of twice his salary. The contract goes through 2015, the Philadelphia Business Journal says.

That’s probably a couple of bucks more than Mayor Ed Rendell paid him back in the day.
